Cielo Azul Coffee began with family, friendship, and one unforgettable cup of single-origin Mexican coffee from Pluma Hidalgo, Oaxaca.
What started as a shared moment with friends became a mission to introduce more people to the quality, heritage, and craftsmanship behind one of Mexico’s most remarkable coffee regions.
Where it began...
Our story started years ago in Mexico, where our paths first crossed as teenagers. Over time, life took each of us in different directions, but the connection between us never disappeared. Years later, during a visit to Ensenada, we shared a coffee brought from Oaxaca, and from the very first sip, we knew we were experiencing something special.
That coffee was rich, smooth, balanced - unlike anything we had tasted before. In that moment, Cielo Azul was born from the simple feeling that something this special deserved to be shared.

Pluma Hidalgo, Oaxaca is one of Mexico’s most respected coffee-growing regions. Founded more than 150 years ago specifically for coffee cultivation, Pluma Hidalgo is a place where coffee is not just a crop, but part of the region’s identity.
The coffee grown here benefits from altitude, climate, and fertile soil, producing a cup that is smooth, well-balanced, naturally sweet, and never bitter. This is the character we want every customer to discover in every bag of Cielo Azul Coffee.
